Leaves 3-6 cm; leaflets 6-10 mm, linear to narrowly obovate, retuse, glabrous above, sparsely adpressed simple-hairy below, 5-7-paired; stipules 2-4 mm, triangular-lanceolate. Flowers in 1-4-flowered spikes. Bracts 0.5-1 mm, lanceolate. Calyx 3-4 mm, tubular, black and white adpressed simple-hairy; teeth c. 1 mm. Corolla violet; standard 6-9 mm. Legumes 30-45 x c. 3 mm, linear, straight, smooth, minutely white adpressed-hairy; beak curved at end into a hook. Fl. 6. Cultivated fields, 800-1300 m. Calyx not inflated, black and white simple-hairy. Standard glabrous with a terminal prolongation. Legume much exceeding calyx, linear, bilocular. many-seeded. Very similar to Sect. Harpilobus, differing mainly in the form of its standard. |
