The specimens from A7 Gümüşane and C6 Gaziantep, which have linear leaflets, may be separable from the remainder (which have narrowly-elliptic leaflets), but only at infraspecific level. If so, this form may be referable to A. aduncus sensu stricto, which is described as having linear leaflets. The form with narrowly elliptic leaflets (including the specimen from B7 Elazig, Noë 871, determined by Boissier as A. aduncus) is then referable to A. kotschyanus. A. chaborasicus and A.kotschy-anus are included in our broad concept of A. aduncus. However, without reference to the Tournefort type of A. aduncus, the nomenclature of this species cannot be finally settled. |
